Thailand tire review sets 2.90% or 0% cash deposits for named exporters on July 20

Updated · Impact score 63/100 · Confidence 55%

Commerce's final 2023–2024 antidumping review assigns a 2.90% margin to Sentury Tire Thailand and the named non-examined companies, and 0% to Sumitomo Rubber Thailand. The reviewed-company cash deposit rates apply to covered entries from July 20.

Why it matters

Importer landed cost now depends on the exact producer/exporter combination. The residual all-others rate remains 17.06%, and Commerce will separately calculate importer-specific assessment rates for entries during the review period.

What to check next

Map each Thailand tire entry to its producer and exporter, confirm whether the company appears in the reviewed or non-examined lists, apply the July 20 cash deposit rate with your broker, and keep prior-period assessment exposure separate from the prospective deposit rate.
